RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY

Please be sure to read our policy before booking. Payment will be taken as confirmation that you have read and will comply with our Reservation & Cancellation Policy and Important Information section.

Booking Conditions

– 100% payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
– If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible.
– Cancellations received 30 days or more prior to your arrival will receive a full refund.
– Cancellations received 14 -30 days prior to arrival will receive a credit for a future booking, equal to 100% of the reservation cost.
Cancellations received less than 14 days before arrival are not eligible for a credit. (Unless weather prevents you from traveling, in this case a full credit will be offered.)
– Bookings during the holiday season (20 December to 03 January) require a minimum stay. 100% non-refundable deposit required.

Important Information

– We are located on a beautiful but remote island with very limited medical facilities, for this reason:
– Yemaya Reefs can only accept children over 7 years old.
– The hotel and the island as a whole, does not have wheelchair access or facilities for special needs guests.
– Pregnant women or people with specific health conditions that may require medical attention during their stay should consult with their healthcare provider before travel.
– Please make sure that you have comprehensive travel health insurance, review your policy and the coverage it provides.
– Pets are not permitted in the hotel or restaurant.
– If your arrival is delayed, please contact us as soon as possible. If we do not hear from you we will only hold your room for the first night of your booking. If bad weather delays your arrival to Yemaya Reefs, we will, of course, try to reschedule your reservation as best we can depending on availability.
– If credit card payment is not an option for you, please contact us at reservations.yemaya@colibriboutiquehotels.com to discuss alternative payment options.
– No refunds for no shows, late arrivals or early checkouts.
– Any changes to booking are subject to availability and room rate changes.
– Liability and force majeure (out of our control)

Yemaya Reefs, the ownership, or staff, of course cannot be held responsible for events that are outside of our control such as, but not limited to:

– Transport delays or cancellations from airlines or any type of transport.
– Bad weather, storms and hurricanes or any type of natural disaster, diseases, epidemics or pandemics.
– Government/political actions, events or situations or acts of war or terrorism.
– Electrical outages (including WIFI service) due to weather, mechanical maintenance or construction difficulties, resulting in loss of enjoyment.
– Personal health issues or personal situations in general which may affect travel plans.
– Any loss, theft or damage of personal items at any stage of your trip.
– Absence of travel documents, visas, passports, health certificates where required. We are not responsible for advertisement of travel and entry requirements.
– Any accident causing injury during any stage of your trip. All hospital, transport and medical expenses are the guest’s responsibility.
– Our policies are subject to change at our discretion based on circumstances outside of our control.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We highly recommend that all of our guests secure quality Travel Insurance. Not all policies are the same. You should check carefully what is and what is not covered before choosing your cover.
